Job Description

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is a comprehensive healthcare system made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, six long-term care facilities, and a residential care facility. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 90 percent of the day
  • Ability to sit for 10 percent of the day
  • Willingness to obtain Family and Friends CPR certification within six months of employment
  • No prior education required
  • No prior experience required
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to laundry duties
  • Availability to work day shifts per requested need

Job Duties

  • Fill dryers with laundry from night shift
  • Make rounds to soiled utility rooms and collect laundry
  • Sort laundry and operate washers
  • Distribute first round of laundry to resident rooms
  • Fold all linens and clothing items
  • Operate and empty dryer lint traps after each load
  • Stock all areas and carts with clean linens
  • Deliver clean linens appropriately
  • Pass out personal clothing to residents
