Job Duties
- Receives soiled laundry
- sorts, washes, dries, counts, irons/presses, folds and stocks laundry
- marks new clothes
- issues clean laundry
- delivers and stocks laundry and supplies
- keeps inventory count of pieces of laundry handled
- picks up and delivers laundry to the cottages
- cleans laundry room and equipment
- determines when items are ready to be disposed of or used as rags
- prepares or recommends orders for new clothes and linen annually
