Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a laundry truck
- Ability to lift heavy loads
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in laundry or delivery services preferred
- Ability to operate a laundry truck safely
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads
- Basic knowledge of laundry handling and hospital linen protocols
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Duties
- Drives truck and delivers exchange carts with clean linens to off-site user areas
- Folds bath towels, blankets, thermal blankets, gowns and other laundry
- Loads and sets up exchange carts to be delivered to user and ancillary departments
- Sorts and stocks linen items
- Stocks linen closet on nursing
- Make special deliveries to departments upon request
- Picks up exchange carts from user departments daily
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Picks up soiled linens in carts
