Job Requirements
- Drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferably in a hotel setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of laundering techniques
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting heavy loads and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers to launder various items including linens towels and blankets and personal clothing orders
- Sort wash dry fold and store laundered items according to established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace
- Run the register and provide great customer service
- Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management
- Ensure all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery
- Watch for specific customer requests per order
