Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work full-time schedule with varying mornings
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- willingness to follow laundry procedures and safety standards
- prior laundry experience preferred but not required
- ability to maintain cleanliness and order in the work area
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior laundry experience is an advantage but not required
- ability to work varied morning shifts on a full-time schedule
- good physical stamina for standing and lifting
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Properly sorts, washes and dries linens following the approved laundry procedures
- folds, counts and stacks linens following approved laundry procedures
- collects soiled linens along with redistributing clean linens
- transports supplies to include clean and soiled linen to the appropriate storage and collection areas
- provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail
- routinely inspects linens for wear and tear, identifying worn and torn linens and following Standard Operating Procedure for damaged linens
- maintains the commercial and residential laundry rooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition
- performs other duties as assigned
