Job Requirements
- Six months previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
- ability to effectively and efficiently move around laundry area
- requires the ability to twist and lift up to 50 pounds and push pull loads of up to 100 pounds to be able to load wash and store laundry items
- ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization

Job Duties
- Sorts washes dries and folds linens according to established procedures
- sweeps cleans and mops work area and restrooms
- performs routine maintenance on laundry equipment such as cleaning dryer traps and greasing flat ironer
- maintains production output according to level of room occupancy
- assists vendors who perform inspections and tests of cleaning agents and operations
- counts and processes reclaimed items
- weighs and counts all received linen
- keeps accurate records of linen delivered and received from all receiving departments and maintains daily worksheets
- anticipates and responds to customers queries concerns and complaints
