Job Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Registration with Selective Service required for males born after 12/31/1959
- Ability to pass background and security investigations
- Completion of pre-employment physical
- Willingness to participate in health vaccination programs including influenza and COVID-19
- Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions
- Physical strength and stamina for manual labor tasks
- Ability to safely move heavy loads and operate machinery
- Commitment to workplace safety procedures
- Availability for full-time Monday-Friday schedule
Job Qualifications
- Evidence of training or experience in laundry machine operation
- Ability to interpret instructions and specifications
- Knowledge of materials and technical practices related to textile care
- Ability to operate equipment and machinery safely
- Capability to follow work practices with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated dexterity and safety awareness
- Experience with repetitive tasks in an industrial setting
Job Duties
- Operate commercial-type washer extractors, conventional washers, and gas dryers
- Load and unload laundry machines according to capacity
- Program computer microprocessors for appropriate wash formulas
- Inspect linens to ensure proper classification and stain removal
- Maintain written records of productivity, chemical usage, and linen weights
- Train other machine operators in safe and effective procedures
- Operate conveyors and overhead railing systems for textile processing
