Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial services
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Good communication skills
- Availability to work part-time hours
- Adherence to company safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Experience with commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to cleaning equipment and chemicals
Job Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal and restocking supplies
- Conduct floor care activities including buffing, polishing, and maintenance of different flooring types
- Assist with custodial responsibilities for both residential and commercial properties
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all assigned areas to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations
