Job Requirements
- No prior housekeeping experience required
- Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow directions in a multi-lingual environment
- A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
- Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the portfolio
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health and safety services
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200-lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- Requires frequent kneeling, squatting, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience in hospitality industry strongly preferred

- No prior housekeeping experience required
Job Duties
- Receives dirty linen from housekeeping staff and separates linens and towels by type
- Washes, dries and folds laundry following proper procedures
- Maintains the organization of the laundry room
- Follows all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations
- Tracks and reports linen shortages, damages or other discrepancies to appropriate manager
- Maintains product quality standards by inspecting and properly treating stained or torn linens
