Job Requirements
- At least six months of laundry or housekeeping experience
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Basic physical stamina to perform manual laundry tasks
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and cleanliness standards
- Previous experience in commercial laundry or dry-cleaning preferred
Job Qualifications
- At least six months of laundry or housekeeping experience
- Experience in a commercial laundry or dry-cleaning facility is preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of laundry machinery operation and maintenance
Job Duties
- Perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers, dryers and chutes
- Iron linens and fold them neatly
- Store and deliver clean linens to appropriate hotel departments
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry machinery and laundry area
- Maintain stock levels of linens and supplies
- Respond to guest service issues promptly, friendly and efficiently
- Perform additional laundry services as needed
