Job Requirements
- completion of a high school diploma and six months of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and understand safety procedures, cleaning instructions, and schedules
- ability to maintain effective customer relations
- excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills

- exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- reaching, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions

Job Duties
- follow assigned job tasks issued by the supervisor daily
- stock linen closets
- remove soiled linens from deposit areas
- sort linen daily
- load and unload all washer extractors in the manner prescribed by the supervisor
- maintain chemical laundry products and ensure the proper dispensing of chemicals to the washer extractor
- operate the flatwork ironer
- clean and disinfect laundry carts daily
- report problems or malfunctions of laundry equipment to the supervisor
- follow safety regulations at all times
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- maintain a good level of employee and guest relations
- perform other related duties as assigned
