Job Requirements

- Ability to operate laundry machinery
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in the work area
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in laundry services or similar roles preferred
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle repetitive tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
- Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes either by hand or machine
- Maintain accurate records of items laundered
