Job Requirements

- physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy laundry bags
- willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, bed sheets, and other hotel laundry items according to established procedures
- handle laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironing machines, and folding tables, ensuring proper operation and maintenance
- inspect laundered items to ensure they meet quality standards, addressing stains, tears, or other issues as needed
- follow specific instructions for handling delicate fabrics or special items to prevent damage
- maintain an organized inventory of clean and ready-to-use linens and towels to meet the demands of guest rooms, dining areas, and other hotel departments
- keep track of linen counts, reorder levels, and replenishment schedules
- clean and maintain laundry equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- follow safety protocols when operating laundry machinery
- coordinate with housekeepers, Housekeeping Housepersons, and other hotel departments to ensure a steady supply of clean linens and towels for guest rooms, restaurants, and event spaces
