Job Requirements
- Lift and carry average weight of 20lbs frequently, maximum weight frequently 50lbs
- standing/walking up to two miles per day on cement, tile, asphalt, and carpet
- reaching/overhead extension to pull items down
- pushing and pulling average weight frequently 50lbs, maximum weight 150lbs
- repetitive motions of bending, stooping, and twisting
- working with and exposed to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise
- must adhere to the hotel's safety standards and procedures
- regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- treating others with respect and behaving in a manner that is positive, productive and encourages teamwork at all times
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- must pass criminal background check
Job Duties
- Unload and sort soiled linen
- load machines with the proper amount of soiled linen
- unload washers and load dryers
- sort and fold clean linen
- oversee the proper operation of the washers and dryers
- keep the laundry room clean and orderly
- complete other duties as assigned to include cross training
