Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- availability to work full-time or part-time shifts
- good communication skills
- willingness to comply with hotel safety and hygiene standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar laundry or housekeeping role preferred
- ability to handle physical tasks for extended periods
- good attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning agents
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Sort all linens and treat stains
- load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents
- take wet, clean items and dry as directed
- sort and fold or hang clean dried items
- stock housekeeping closets with clean, folded linen and terry
- maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager
