Job Requirements

  • Prior housekeeping experience
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • ability to operate heavy machinery and use cleaning chemicals
  • commitment to safety and protective equipment use
  • reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Prior housekeeping experience is desirable
  • ability to operate laundry equipment safely
  • attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness
  • good physical stamina
  • teamwork and communication skills
  • basic understanding of safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
  • load and unload washers and dryers
  • maintain equipment as trained
  • fold, store and distribute towels and linens
  • practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
  • assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
  • maintain clean work areas
  • be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • perform other duties as requested by management
