Job Requirements
- Ability to work full time with weekend and holiday availability
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with company associates
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical ability to bend, lift, kneel, and be in continuous motion throughout the workday
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to assist in other hotel operations when needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning linen and terry daily according to operational policies and standards
- Sort out stained linen for soaking and re-washing
- Set damaged linen aside to be discarded
- Operate washers and dryers according to load limits and type of linen being laundered
- Fold, stack, hang and store all laundered linen and terry
- Transport clean linen to linen closets and retrieve dirty linen from floors if necessary
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Check laundry chemical supplies
