- Ability to operate laundry equipment
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and move linens
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Willingness to work weekends
- Availability for eight-hour shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping helpful
- Ability to operate washing machines and dryers safely
- Attention to detail in handling linens
- Good physical stamina for lifting and standing
- Ability to follow safety and chemical handling protocols
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
Job Duties
- Sort towels, linens, blankets for washer
- Remove stains from badly soiled linen using proper techniques
- Operate washers and dryers properly following correct chemical usage
- Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stocked and organized
- Occasionally take out trash from laundry room
- Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets according to hotel standards
- Keep laundry area neat and clean
- Assist housekeepers with cleanliness of hotel
- Assist with cleaning and upkeep of storage areas
