Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required
- Ability to speak and hear
- Good close and distance vision
- Ability to frequently lift or carry more than 26 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to walk extended distances
- Ability to kneel or stoop repeatedly
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow instructions
- Familiarity with material safety data sheet and chemical safety
- Ability to adjust to repetitive tasks
- Ability to move or lift heavy objects
- Good manual dexterity and motor skills
Job Duties
- Load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent soap or other cleaning agent
- Turn valve to fill washer with water
- Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles
- Lift clean wet articles from washer and places them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles
- Sort dried articles according to identification number or type
- Fold and place item in appropriate storage bin
- Iron all table linens
