Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting standing and bending
- basic knowledge of laundry techniques preferred
- availability to work Tuesday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with flexibility during busy seasons
- good communication skills
- attention to detail
- ability to follow safety protocols
- willingness to work onsite
Job Qualifications
- prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required training will be provided
- strong knowledge of laundry techniques including washing drying ironing and folding
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy loads standing for extended periods and bending
- excellent attention to detail to ensure all linens are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained
- good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- a positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- operate laundry machines and equipment to wash dry and fold linens uniforms and other fabric items
- sort laundry items by color fabric type and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- perform cleaning tasks such as spot treating stains and inspecting items for damages or irregularities
- manage dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialty fabrics when required
- maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and adhering to safety protocols
- assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report shortages or maintenance needs promptly
