Job Requirements
- Ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle and work safely with chemicals and detergents
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Willingness to cross train in other hotel departments if needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping is desirable
- Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and supplies
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of laundry duties including washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens and terry
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Manage stock and inventory of laundry supplies
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces when needed
- Provide courteous and friendly guest service with a +1 Service Attitude
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
- Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment for the team and guests
