Job Requirements
- Six months previous laundry experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, see and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly
- Availability to work variable schedule including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to a drug free workplace
- Eligibility to work as verified by E-Verify
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of laundry processes
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning products and operation of laundry equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform required duties
- Ability to meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency
- Ability to manage time to meet productivity standards
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance
Job Duties
- Maintain daily availability of clean linens for housekeeping department
- Ensure all linen is in good condition and free from stains
- Operate laundry equipment and handle cleaning products safely
- Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency
- Manage time to meet productivity standards
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively
