Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior laundry or washperson experience preferred
- Ability to operate washing and drying machines
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending and stooping
- Flexibility to work part-time hours
- Willingness to adhere to all safety policies and procedures

- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing and drying machinery including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
- Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from laundry machines and place in clean linen carts
- Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types
- Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, filters, and drain traps after each load
- Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes by hand or with folding machines
- Maintain accurate records of laundered items
- Follow all company safety and security policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Support coworkers and team goals
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, twisting, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds
