Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- One year of linen experience preferred
- Demonstrates skills and competencies necessary for safe job performance
- Sufficient proficiency in English for safety and communication
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to access departmental and hospital information systems
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of equipment and chemicals
Job Qualifications

- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers
- Ability to access and utilize information systems to support the department

- Knowledge of safe use of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
Job Duties
- Transport clean linen to designated patient areas and ancillary departments using linen exchange/stocking program
- Receive bulk linen deliveries and build carts
- Remove soiled linen or prepare it for transport to laundry facilities
- Track linen inventory using manual or automated processes
- Follow infection control guidelines in linen handling
- Maintain an organized and clean linen room
- Operate linen transport equipment safely and efficiently
