Job Duties
- Practice faithful caring tenets at work
- responsible for operating laundry equipment (washers, dryers, etc.) in accordance with department practices
- responsible for sorting and loading washers according to department practices
- responsible for picking up soiled linen and delivering clean linen in accordance with department practices
- responsible for folding, hanging, and delivering residents’ personal linens in accordance with department practices
- adjust daily par levels to meet customers’ needs as directed by the supervisor or manager
- maintains and tracks daily poundage of all linen
- tracks and monitors the delivery of clean linen carts according to department practices
- responsible for labeling residents’ clean clothing and returning them to the units
- answers the phone professionally
- answers call lights
- able to problem solve
- performs other duties as required
