Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required
- Ability to move or lift heavy objects
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to speak and hear clearly
- Ability to identify and distinguish colors
- Physical capability to kneel and stoop repeatedly
- Willingness to follow safety protocols when handling chemicals
- Ability to work in wet or humid conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Familiarity with safety rules when working around machinery
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to move or lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail in handling linens and equipment
- Good communication skills to interact with guests
Job Duties
- Load articles into washer and add specified amount of detergent or cleaning agent
- Turn valve to fill washer with water
- Start machine that automatically washes and rinses articles
- Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them into wringers and driers for timed cycles
- Sort dried articles according to identification number or type
- Fold and place items in appropriate storage bins
- Iron all table linens
- Lubricate machines using grease gun and oil can
- Ensure cleanliness of equipment
- Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
