Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must be able to stand for sustained periods and walk to accomplish tasks
- must be capable of repetitive motions of wrists hands and fingers
- ability to lift laundry supplies linens and other items
- must follow established guidelines and procedures
- must work well under stress and pace pressure
- must be able to convey information clearly
- must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled ending time
- must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
- must provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
- willing to work varied schedules including evenings nights weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality service consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- effective listening conflict resolution and communication skills
- desire to serve all guests
- knowledge of hotel facility features and amenities
- familiarity with relevant technology for the role
- strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- wearing clean approved uniform and name tag
- ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally
Job Duties
- Performs all stages of linen processing including collecting transporting sorting weighing loading and unloading washers dryers and laundry chutes folding storing and delivering
- washes and dries all dirty linens towels rags etc as directed by management removes and sorts dirty linens and towels from laundry carts folds linens towels and stocks linen carts as required
- understands operation of washing machines and dryers cleans dryer filter as directed and maintains all equipment as trained
- sweeps and mops laundry floors stores all linens off the floor keeps laundry carts clean and free of debris stocks all linen closets throughout the hotel keeps all back of house areas well-organized and clean
- replaces and replenishes cleaning chemicals
