Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-centered environment meeting quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Competent organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and problem solving
- Ability to work semi-independently and follow community procedures
- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Required to pass drug test, tuberculosis test, background check, and physical examination
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination if mandated by laws
Job Qualifications

- Willingness to comply with safety and regulatory requirements
Job Duties
- Collects, cleans and redistributes community and resident laundry
- Sorts, washes and dries linens and resident clothing following approved laundry procedures
- Transports clean and soiled linens to appropriate storage and collection areas
- Folds, counts and stacks linens as per approved procedures
- Inspects linens regularly for wear and tear and manages damaged linens according to community procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of commercial and residential laundry rooms
- Communicates with Supervisor about inventory and procurement needs
- Assists Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Responds to resident requests and directs feedback to supervisors
- Documents resident information and changes in the daily log
- Adheres to safety and infection control protocols including handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely
- Participates in fire and safety drills and team meetings
- Follows community procedures and maintains compliance with required training
