- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
- ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- willingness to follow all company safety and security policies
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- report safety hazards and accidents promptly

Job Duties
- Remove and separate soiled laundry from chutes or housekeeping carts
- operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery according to company standards
- apply correct treatment to stained items based on fabric and stain type
- maintain accurate records of items washed, load counts, and poundage of dry cleaning and laundry
- transport carts of washed articles to dryers and properly place according to load size
- remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load
- monitor chemical container levels, report potential pump problems to supervisor or manager
- follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure personal appearance is clean and professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- support team to reach common goals
- listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees
- inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
- perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 25 pounds
