Job Requirements
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and supplies
- Ability to work with chemicals and detergents safely
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical capability to handle laundry duties
- Flexibility to assist other departments as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience beneficial
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and chemical handling
- Ability to work independently and follow verbal directions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens and terry for wear and stains
- Ensure laundry area is clean and organized
- Maintain stock and inventory of laundry supplies
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests with a friendly and courteous attitude
- Contribute to a positive work environment for the team and guests
- Follow safety and chemical handling procedures in laundry operations
