Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- frequent bending while loading or unloading washers and dryers, sorting linen and folding
- continuous movement throughout department
- standing during the entire shift
- frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and smiling

- Any combination of education and experience that provides required knowledge, skill, and ability

Job Duties
- Sort stained or damaged items and determine rewash or discard
- operate ironing and folder machines according to specifications
- fold cleaned articles and stack by type and size
- place stacks in designated distribution areas
- remove lint and debris from dryer filters
- use cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- check condition and cleanliness of laundry machinery
- monitor chemical and water usage
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- restock work areas for next shift
- turn in lost and found items and guest keys
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- follow safety and security procedures
- know fire prevention and emergency procedures
- utilize protective equipment
- report unsafe conditions to management
- report accidents, injuries, and property damage to management
- maintain neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- perform related duties as assigned
- assist other housekeeping personnel when needed
