Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent education preferred
- 1 to 2 years previous experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel preferred
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to work cooperatively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Flexible schedule - willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill necessary tasks
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs on a regular and continuing basis
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity
- Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions, variable noise levels, and around chemicals

Job Duties
- Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards, and correct maintenance and use of equipment
- Sort, wash, and clean hotel linen and terry by operating all laundry machinery in accordance with hotel's standards
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Use cleaning chemicals according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- Sort all stained or damaged items and determine status for rewash or discard
- Transport cart of washed linen to dryers and set dryers to designated times and temperatures
- Remove articles from dryer and place in clean linen cart for finishing
- Issue clean table linens, service towels, and rags to Food and Beverage team members
- Report faulty equipment, damaged garments/linens, shortages, maintenance needs, safety hazards and problems to management
