Job Duties
- Operate and control laundry machinery including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment
- Add chemicals required for washing and cleaning
- Clean lint filters and maintain machinery
- Identify stained or damaged items and treat stains or decide on re-washing or discarding
- Inspect the cleanliness of washed items and place them on clean laundry carts
- Program dryers according to fabric types by adjusting time and temperature
- Fold cleaned items manually or using folding machines
- Maintain accurate records of washed and ironed items
- Adhere to all company safety policies
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete required safety training and certifications
- Maintain a neat and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Protect company property and confidentiality
- Support team members and treat them with dignity and respect
- Assist in achieving common team goals
- Perform physical job functions including lifting items up to 25 pounds
- Stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
