Job Duties
- Operate and control laundry, dry cleaning, and drying machinery including adding chemicals and cleaning lint filters
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine treatment or disposal
- Inspect cleaned items from washers, dryers, or dry cleaning machines and place them on carts
- Program drying time and temperature according to fabric types
- Remove lint and debris from drying and dry cleaning machine filters after each load
- Fold clean items of designated size manually or using folding machines
- Maintain accurate records of washed and pressed items
