Job Duties
- Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery
- add chemicals and clean lint traps
- identify stained or damaged items for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
- inspect cleanliness of articles removed from machines
- set dryers to designated times and temperatures
- remove lint and debris from screens and filters
- fold cleaned articles by hand or machine
- maintain accurate records of items laundered
- follow company safety and security policies
- report accidents and unsafe conditions
- complete safety training
- maintain professional personal appearance
- ensure confidentiality of proprietary information
- protect company assets
- develop positive working relationships
- support team goals
- listen and respond to employee concerns
- ensure adherence to quality standards
- identify and implement improvements for efficiency and cost-savings
- visually inspect tools and equipment
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
