Job Requirements

- previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
- ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment
- knowledge of hygiene and safety standards

Job Duties
- Collect, sort, and separate laundry items including linens, uniforms, and guest clothing according to type, color, and cleaning requirements
- operate washing machines, dryers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and proper cleaning
- report any issues to the supervisor
- fold, press, and organize clean laundry for distribution to various hotel departments
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, equipment, and storage rooms
- always follow established hygiene and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
- track laundry supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- deliver clean linens and uniforms to designated hotel departments promptly and accurately
- assist with inventory counts and record keeping of laundry supplies and equipment
- handle guest laundry requests with care and attention to detail, ensuring timely processing
- report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Laundry Manager
- adhere to hotel policies and procedures regarding laundry operations and guest privacy
- support other housekeeping tasks as assigned during peak times or as needed
- any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
