Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Experience in hospitality or related customer service field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow detailed guidelines and procedures
- Ability to handle high-pressure and fast-paced work environments
- Strong listening and conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication skills
- Strong hospitality and guest service orientation
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality with timekeeping including clocking in and out as scheduled
- Capability to provide advance notice when unable to attend scheduled shifts
- Ability to perform physical demands such as standing for prolonged periods, walking long distances, repetitive wrist and hand motions, and lifting laundry supplies and linens
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve and provide excellent guest service
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctual with clock-in and clock-out procedures
- Ability to comply with break schedules and call-out notice requirements
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile
- Use guest names whenever possible to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores through teamwork
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Demonstrate proper phone etiquette with friendly service
- Maintain clean and well-organized workspaces both front and back of house
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests warmly even during cleaning tasks
- Accurately complete all operational checklists on time every shift
- Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean, approved uniform and remain well-groomed with a smile
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Display a willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles to meet hotel needs
- Collaborate positively to create a welcoming guest environment and effective workplace
- Perform linen processing including collecting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, folding, storing, and delivering
- Operate washing machines and dryers, maintain equipment, and clean dryer filters
- Sweep and mop laundry floors, keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
- Stock linen closets and maintain cleanliness in all back of house areas
- Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as directed
