Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred
- Ability to follow safety protocols and use protective equipment
- Willingness to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
- Capability to operate heavy machinery safely
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience is desirable
- Ability to operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform lifting and bending tasks
- Basic organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
- Load and unload washers and dryers
- Maintain equipment as trained
- Fold, store and distribute towels and linens
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
- Maintain clean work areas
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
