Job Duties
- Load articles into washer and add detergent or cleaning agents as specified
- Fill washers with water and start washing machines
- Lift wet articles and place them into wringers and dryers for specified cycles
- Sort dried laundry by identification number or type
- Fold and place items into appropriate storage bins
- Iron all table linens
- Lubricate machines and ensure cleanliness of all equipment
- Remove stains using appropriate procedures
- Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution as needed
- Mix dyes and bleaches following formulas and apply to specified articles
- Mend torn articles by sewing
- Sort and count laundry to verify quantities
- Follow safety regulations related to chemical use
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
