Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to arrive on time and follow clock-in/clock-out procedures
  • Willingness to provide sufficient notice when calling out from shifts
  • Ability to work well under pace and pressure
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as standing for long periods, walking, repetitive motions of hands and wrists, and lifting laundry supplies
  • Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures
  • Must have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must possess effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have clear communication skills
  • Must have a desire to serve guests
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred

  • Knowledge of basic laundry operations and equipment

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay using their names when possible
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • Perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, folding, storing, and delivering linens
  • Operate washing machines and dryers and maintain laundry equipment
  • Keep laundry facility clean and organized including floors and carts
  • Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as required
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Collaborate with all levels of staff to create a welcoming environment
