Job Duties
- Receive and sort soiled linen
- follow proper procedures regarding decontamination and quality standards
- ensure the cleanliness of linens and towels
- operate commercial washer with approved detergents, required temperature and proper weight
- iron and fold laundry
- ensure finished product is inspected and meets quality standards
- restock housekeeping carts
- reclaim linen and discards
- report all emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage and mechanical problems immediately
- follow all safety procedures while working
