Job Requirements
- ability to work friday and saturday shifts
- willingness to cross train in housekeeping for additional hours
- ability to handle physical demands of laundry work including lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- basic understanding of using laundry machinery and chemicals
- reliable and punctual
- positive attitude with a customer service mindset
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in laundry or housekeeping roles is a plus
- ability to follow verbal directions accurately
- knowledge of laundry procedures and use of laundry chemicals
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform washing drying sorting folding and inspecting linens and terry for stains and wear and tear
- keep the laundry area clean and organized
- maintain stock and inventory of laundry supplies
- assist in cleaning rooms and public spaces when needed
- provide courteous and friendly guest service responding promptly to inquiries requests and complaints
- follow laundry procedures and safety guidelines using chemicals and detergents
- contribute to a positive work environment
