Job Requirements
- Near high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, push, pull, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work on holidays, weekends, or alternate shifts
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and use cleaning chemicals safely
Job Qualifications
- Near high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members verbally or in written form
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Ability to work well in stressful high pressure situations
Job Duties
- Comply at all times with Hyatt standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
- Load and unload washers and dryers
- Maintain equipment as trained
- Fold, store and distribute towels and linens
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
- Maintain clean work area
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
