Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
  • Work together with all team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facility features and amenities
  • Support and be aware of all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and operate relevant technology for the role effectively
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests happily while cleaning, by name if possible
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with a nametag and smile
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, folding, storing, and delivering
  • Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, and rags as directed
  • Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts
  • Fold linens and towels and stock linen carts as required
  • Understand the operation of washing machines and dryers
  • Clean dryer filters and maintain equipment as trained
  • Sweep and mop laundry floors
  • keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
  • Stock all linen closets throughout the hotel
  • Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as directed
  • Follow safety and cleanliness standards in all back of house areas
