Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns with co-workers and guests
- Must follow all clock-in/out and break schedules
- Willingness to provide sufficient notice for call outs
- Must arrive on time for every shift and not work off the clock
- Ability to perform physical demands including standing, walking, repetitive motions of hands and wrists, and lifting laundry supplies and linens
- Must be able to follow instructions and complete all duties satisfactorily
- Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to provide excellent hospitality and guest service
- Ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Completed high school education or equivalent
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible
- Work with team members to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support events and groups at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly, approved greetings
- Perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, folding, storing, and delivering
- Wash and dry all linens, towels, and rags as directed
- Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts
- Stock linen carts as required
- Operate washing machines and dryers and clean dryer filters
- Maintain and clean laundry equipment and facility
- Sweep and mop laundry floors and maintain cleanliness of laundry carts
- Stock all linen closets throughout the hotel
- Replace and replenish cleaning chemicals as needed
