Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and supplies
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to handle chemicals and detergents safely
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and standing
- Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays
- Willingness to cross train as housekeeper for additional hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in laundry operations preferred
- Ability to follow verbal directions accurately
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and chemicals
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Perform washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens and terry
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Manage inventory and stock of laundry supplies
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces when needed
- Provide courteous and friendly guest service
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive service attitude
- Contribute to a positive work environment for the team and guests
