Job Requirements
- ability to follow verbal directions
- thorough knowledge of laundry procedures
- familiarity with laundry supplies and chemicals
- ability to work independently without supervision
- availability to work Fridays and Saturdays
- physical ability to perform laundry duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- good organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in laundry or housekeeping operations is an advantage
- ability to follow verbal directions
- knowledge of laundry procedures and supplies
- ability to work with chemicals and detergents safely
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- perform a variety of laundry duties including washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens
- ensure laundry area is clean and organized
- maintain stock and inventory of laundry supplies
- assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces when needed
- provide courteous and friendly service to guests
- respond promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 service attitude
- contribute to maintaining a positive work environment
