Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior housekeeping experience preferred
ability to stand for extended periods
capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
ability to operate laundry machinery
willing to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
adherence to safety standards and use of protective equipment

Job Qualifications

Prior housekeeping experience is desirable
good physical stamina to perform prolonged standing and lifting
ability to operate laundry equipment safely
basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
effective communication skills
ability to work well in a team environment
strong attention to detail

Job Duties

Sort count and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
load and unload washers and dryers
maintain equipment as trained
fold store and distribute towels and linens
practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
maintain clean work areas
be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
perform other duties as requested by management
