Job Duties
- Operate and control washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery including chemical additions and lint filter cleaning
- Identify stained or damaged items and determine treatment or disposal
- Inspect cleanliness of items from washers, dryers, or dry cleaning machines and place on carts
- Program drying time and temperature based on fabric types
- Remove lint and debris from dryer and dry cleaning machine filters after each load
- Fold clean items manually or using folding machines
- Maintain accurate records of washed and ironed items
- Adhere to company safety policies and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Support team goals and assist coworkers respectfully
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, moving, and standing for extended periods
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment for defects
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors
