Job Requirements
- Education - any combination of education and experience that provides required knowledge
- Reliability and punctual attendance
- Ability to operate washing and drying machines
- Ability to inspect linens for quality
- Ability to hand fold or operate folding machines
- Good physical stamina
- Preferred ability to speak English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Good work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliability for punctual attendance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of laundry machine operation preferred
Job Duties
- Receive dirty linen and load into washing machines
- Transfer linen to dryers and monitor proper detergent mix and cycle length
- Hand fold linens or use ironing and automatic folding machines
- Inspect linens for softness, cleanliness, and quality
- Neatly stack folded linen in carts for delivery
- Attend daily pre-shift housekeeping meetings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and machinery
- Report any machine issues to Laundry Supervisor
